We're working with a well regarded Perth accounting firm looking to bring on an Intermediate Accountant who wants to build a career in Advisory, not just tax returns and financial statements on repeat. Think business advisory, forecasting, cash flow modelling, and actually sitting in the room when clients make decisions about their business.
What you'll be doing:
- Working closely with clients on advisory-style projects, not just compliance
- Involvement in forecasting, budgeting, and business performance conversations
- Some traditional compliance work, but with a clear runway to shift the balance toward advisory over time
- Working directly with Partners and Directors who want to develop your skillset, not just hand you a workload
What you'll bring:
- CA or CPA (part-qualified or close to completing)
- A couple of years' experience in a public practice environment
- Someone who's keen to move beyond compliance and build genuine advisory skills
- Confident communicator, comfortable in front of clients
