Kinbridge is partnering with a well-established, purpose-driven organisation to appoint a Group Financial Controller . This is a key leadership role supporting the CFO and executive team, responsible for overseeing financial operations and strengthening the finance function across a multi-entity environment.

This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in financial strategy, governance and operational improvement within a complex and growing organisation.

The Opportunity

The Group Financial Controller will provide both strategic and operational leadership across the finance function, while overseeing broader corporate services including procurement, property and fleet management.

Working closely with the executive team, you will lead financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes while driving strong financial controls, regulatory compliance and systems improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across the group

  • Oversee month-end reporting, financial statements and board reporting

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes

  • Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance with regulatory requirements

  • Provide strategic financial insight to support decision making across the organisation

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team

  • Drive improvements across systems, reporting and financial processes

  • Support long-term financial planning and organisational growth initiatives

About You

We are seeking an experienced finance leader who brings both strong technical capability and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

You will demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles (Financial Controller / Head of Finance / similar)

  • Experience operating within complex or multi-entity environments

  • Strong financial reporting, governance and compliance expertise

  • Proven experience leading and developing finance teams

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate financial insights into business outcomes

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Experience within the not-for-profit, health, community services or purpose-driven sectors will be highly regarded.
