This is a highly visible role working closely with senior operational leaders, providing financial insight and commercial support across a complex manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in helping drive performance, identifying efficiencies and supporting strategic decisions making across the organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the finance leadership team, you will act as a trusted partner to operational stakeholders, providing financial support across manufacturing, production and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with operational leaders to support business performance and decision making
- Attend operational meetings and provide timely financial insight and analysis
- Deliver meaningful reporting, analysis and recommendations to support operational outcomes
- Analyse manufacturing costs, operational performance and key business drivers
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimisation and cost savings
- Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities
- Maintain and review costing models and operational performance metrics
- End of month duties, journals, reporting etc
To be succesulf in this role, you will bring the following
- Previous manufacturing experience is essential, applications without manufacturing experience will not be considered for this role
- Strong understanding of costing, inventory and operational finance principles
- Experience partnering with operational stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- CA or CPA qualified
